This is a 20-week, hands-on, in-person, beekeeping course that will ensure you are ready to support our pollinators. Our Instructors will expertly guide you through all of the intricacies of understanding the nature and behavior of these spicy sky nuggets. The supportive learning environment ensures you see and experience a full-season of beekeeping.
Classes are every Tuesday morning from 12 May 26 to 29 Sept 26 (no classes on 30 June). Classes are 9am - 1200noon and include refreshments. There is a supplementary course on 27 October to demonstrate winter wrapping of hives. NOTE - Beekeeping is a weather dependent activity. There may be schedule changes because of rain, heat or storms.
